2017 Lorax Project underway

The 2017 UGLN Lorax Revegetation Project is now underway for our eighth consecutive year.

Already we have had corporate volunteers from NAB and ANZ travel up from Melbourne to assist with revegetation projects in Yea and Glenburn.

The Yea High School students have also completed the first of four planting days they will be carrying out on properties at Homewood, Yea, Limestone and Strath Creek.

And our Green Army team have been very busy planting on properties at Gobur, Taggerty, Limestone and up in Highlands.

UGLN has built up a very valuable resource of tree planting assistance and partnerships. This has enabled us to successfully undertake many projects that have a large revegetation component.

This year the Lorax Project volunteers will be assisting landcare members involved with our Murrindindi Offset Project, Biodiversity Fund and Woodlands & Wetlands Projects. As well as the revegetation part of the Ribbons of Remnant Roadsides project.
