Landcare Community Facilitator
The Upper Goulburn Landcare Network seeks an energetic, motivated team member who can engage with existing staff and local communities to deliver Landcare services within the Murrindindi Shire.
This is a 0.65 (24.7 hours per week) FTE position based in our office in Yea.
Key responsibilities include: administrative support for the delivery of Landcare Projects; assisting with funding applications, managing communications within the Network and with Landcare Groups; providing support and advice to Landcare Groups to assist in the achievement of their goals; event coordination, and providing administration services to the UGLN Executive Committee, Project Officers and Facilitators.
Candidates should have the following attributes: experience in providing administrative services to a volunteer based organization; strong computer skills including Microsoft Office; good time management and organizational skills; an understanding and interest in engaging and empowering the rural community in natural resource management issues; and community engagement experience.
